Weymouth Crematorium
The existing Crematorium required up dating and extending to modernise its facilities. The services had to remain operational throughout the works and therefore Davis & Barrett gave the at most consideration when planning the works.
After considering the methods that would cause the least disruption the brick and block extensions quickly took shape, the understanding of our site trades meant that flexibility was always provided and when required changing work tasks to suit services. This tailored service hopefully went unnoticed by the grieving families of Weymouth.
Camborne Crematorium
The beautiful Cornish country side provided the backdrop for the construction of Camborne’s New Crematorium. Davis & Barrett’s Stone Masons lovingly took local materials and sculpted the impressive structure seen now. Behind the natural local materials, a more modern structure lies which has provided a comfortable space for grieving Family and Friends.
External landscaping was key to achieving the desired tranquil atmosphere and appeasing local planning restrictions, external retaining walls, seating areas were also provided by Davis & Barrett which complimented the extensive landscaping scheme.
