This centre is being used by children at Sidcot, but also for exhibitions and art classes. The Centre is an extraordinary resource for Sidcot School, surrounding communities and local schools.

This building wraps around the existing structure. Constructed from predominantly steel frame with an internal masonry infill and split face plinth facings with an internal spiral. This was a project Davis & Barrett demonstrated their diversity to achieve a complex design utilizing different materials, stones and lime mortars.

Here we were part of the team that provided welcomed new facilities which nested naturally into the existing campus.

Although this project was on Davis & Barrett’s door step we still met the same restrictions and challenges we have become accustomed to, this allowed us to utilize our proactive approach and actively participate in the site team. With brick facings externally and traditional block work internally, the multi levelled building made an aesthetic addition to the skyline.
