Leighton Davis and Wayne Barrett, both Somerset men, represent over thirty years experience in the craft of bricklaying.

Leighton, based at Burnham on Sea, and Wayne at Taunton, have a good knowledge of the region and have worked for major companies on large developments and construction projects over many years before setting up their own company in Somerset.

The company has been trading for over many years and provides a professional service from the initial enquiry through to the final completion. We pride ourselves on our reputation of carrying out all projects within the required budget and timescale whilst maintaining an excellent safety record.

Safety on site is a primary concern, and all of our sites are subject to weekly safety inspections and audits to ensure that our workforce are as safe as possible at their place of work. We comply with all current health and safety regulations via our external advisers, The Building Safety Group, who provide us with regular health and safety training. All of The Building Safety Group’s Safety Advisers hold as a minimum, the NEBOSH General Certificate and the NEBOSH Construction Certificate in occupational safety and health. They also have an annual programme of refresher training and continuous professional development for all Advisers. The Building Safety Group employ safety advisers throughout England & Wales and their main core activity is carrying out site inspections on members’ sites as well as giving advice to members on health & safety and environmental issues. Sites are allocated to safety advisers purely by geographical location in order to keep travel to a minimum. Davis and Barrett's health and safety record is second to none with zero fatalities, zero major injuries, zero over 3 day injuries and no prohibition notices have never been served on us. With the Building Safety Group behind us we intend to keep it that way. We are also proud to announce that we are 100% CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) accredited.
